At-risk youth may be those in juvenile probation. They may also be children or adolescents with serious psychological problems associated with complex trauma and significant failure to establish secure patterns of attachment. Children with a history of physical, sexual and/or emotional trauma; childhood neglect; domestic violence; drug and alcohol abuse; and repeated foster home or residential facility placements may have behavioral and emotional challenges. EquiTeam addresses these challenges by helping youth develop positive lifestyles and strong decision-making skills.
